What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lab Director position at Piedmont Cosmetic Surgery & Dermatology Center?
We are seeking a detail oriented and motivated MOHS histology technician with experience working in a lab environment.
* B.S. degree in biology or chemistry preferred or Associates Degree in Science Accepted
* MOHS experience preferred
* Performing tissue sections and staining using the MOHS technique
* Logging specimens
* Grossing, embedding, cutting, and staining histopathology slides
* Maintaining equipment and ordering supplies
* Keeping up with CLIA inspections and QC/QA manuals and logs
* Preparing lab requisition forms
* Travel to North Wilkesboro lab once a week
Salary : $23 - $25
