What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Manager position at Piedmont Composites & Tooling?
We are looking for an experienced and confident production manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations on the plant floor that directly contribute to maintaining high standards such as on-time performance, low issue rates, increasing efficiencies and revenue. You will manage scheduling, produce daily operating reports, while provide leadership and developing strategic plans. You should be a strong leader with a positive attitude with excellent interpersonal communication skills. No previous experience in fiberglass is required. PCT’s technical training is in-house. The candidate applying should be of integrity, strong work ethic, excellent character, and proven managerial ability.
Management pay is commensurate with skill and experience level. The plant operates four days per week from 6am-4:30pm and closes for the week of the 4th of July and the days between Christmas Eve and New Year.

- Knowledge of fiberglass manufacturing is a plus, but not required

Additional Requirements:
- High school degree or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in business management, business, or related field preferred; Master's in business administration or management a plus
- 10 years' previous experience as a manager or related position
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Must be able to pass a drug test and disclose anything that would turn up on a background check
- Must have a valid NC driver's license
- Must be 18 years or older
- Able to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds
