What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production (Early Start) position at Piedmont Composites & Tooling?
Piedmont Composites & Tooling is looking to expand our Production staff. No previous experience is required! We do all our own training in-house.
The hours for this position could fluctuate between the hours of 5am - 4:30pm depending on production schedule.
$20 an hour
Job Description:
- Pushing molds from the Gel-coat booth to different departments after they are gel coated
- Clean and prepare molds for use
- Roll chopped fiberglass as it is applied to remove air pockets
- Insert fiberglass sheets into mold and inject with resin
- De-mold (remove part from mold)
- Assist with sub-assembly of products as needed
- Potential opportunity to spray gel-coat
- Keep department clean

Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a drug test and disclose anything that would turn up on a background check
- Must have valid NC driver's license
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs., push molds around the plant, and bend over molds to insert fiberglass accurately
