What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finishing position at Piedmont Composites & Tooling?
Piedmont Composites & Tooling is growing! We are looking to expand our production staff in our Finishing group. No previous experience is required! We do all our own training in-house.
$20\hr.
Job Description:
- Use buffers to polish fiberglass products
- Use a D/A ("dual action" / orbital) sander to sand out imperfections
- There are minimum speed requirements that must be maintained after an introductory/learning period
- Faster finish times while maintaining excellent quality lead to higher compensation
- Very similar to auto body finishing

Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a drug test and disclose anything that would turn up on a background check
- Must have valid driver's license
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be able to work on your feet
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to hold and use a buffer or sander for long periods of time
- Must be okay with a dusty environment
- Must have a good eye for aesthetics
