What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outpatient & Assessment Therapist position at Piedmont Community Services?
We are seeking an outpatient and assessment therapist to provide individual therapy, group therapy, and Comprehensive Needs Assessments. This is a multi-faceted position that requires licensure eligibility or licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) in the state of Virginia. License eligible candidates must register with their respective state board and will receive weekly clinical supervision towards obtaining licensure. This position is a great clinical skill builder for recent graduates of accredited graduate schools for counseling or social work. Ideal candidates will have some experience working with individuals across the life span who are diagnosed with mental illness (SMI, SED, At-risk) and/or substance use disorders. Salary is commensurate with appropriate education and experience as it relates to the position.
