Under general supervision responsible for the planning and execution of the daily program for all children under the guidance and direction of the Director, Child Development Center, Lead Teacher, Child Development Center and Teacher, Child Development Center. This responsibility is multi-faceted and extends from planning educational experiences for the children to health and first-aid care; from discipline to room clean up.

This job requires continuously talking or hearing, frequently standing and frequently walking. Occasional lifting of up to 50lbs.

Examples of Duties
- Assist the Director, Lead Teacher, and Teacher in planning and conducting activities for the children based on the objectives of the Center and the needs of each child.
- Assist in the supervision of children during snack, lunch periods and playground activities; teaches personal hygiene; helps prepare cots/mats for nap time.
- Maintains a safe and healthy learning environment for each child enrolled.
- Assist in fostering positive functioning of children and adults in a group environment.
- Sanitizes tables and keeps floors clean; maintenance with vacuum, mop, empty trash and clean and sanitize bathrooms and sinks as needed.
