What are the responsibilities and job description for the On Call Chaplain, PRN, Nights position at Piedmont Careers?
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Provides spiritual and pastoral support to patients, family members, visitors, and employees and provides supportive services to the community.
Major Tasks and Responsibilities, Provides spiritual care and counseling to patients, families and visitors, hospital staff and community. Provides appropriate assistance to patients, family members. Conducts worship services.
Required Hours: PRN nights Tuesday 8pm - Wednesday 7am
Qualifications:MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelors degree from a recognized college or university and a Masters degree in Theology, Divinity, Religion, Counseling, or related field required.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Minimum of two (2) years pastoral experience required for On Call.
Minimum of four (4) units of Clinical Pastoral Education required. Ecclesiastical endorsement from the appropriate denomination required. Ordination preferred. Previous hospital experience preferred.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Certification or certification eligible by pastoral care organization preferred.
