Maintenance Tech II

Are you a hands-on maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, keeping production running, and working in a team that actually values maintenance? We’re looking for a Maintenance Technician II to join our growing manufacturing team and help support reliable, safe, and efficient operations.

This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing who wants steady work, opportunities to grow their skills, and a company that takes safety and food quality seriously.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and packaging equipment in a food manufacturing environment

• Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and keep equipment running smoothly

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues involving conveyors, motors, gearboxes, bearings, belts, chains, pneumatics, and related systems

• Respond to production calls and breakdowns in a timely, professional manner

• Assist with equipment installations, improvements, and changeovers

• Work closely with production, quality, and leadership teams to support daily operations

• Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout, machine guarding, and hot work practices

• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance work performed

• Bonus: Experience with PLCs or automated equipment is a plus, but not required. We’re looking for strong mechanical skills first and foremost.

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills

• Experience working on industrial or production equipment

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of repairs

• Comfort working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Familiarity with food manufacturing, GMPs, or sanitation standards is preferred

• Willingness to work flexible hours or occasional overtime as needed

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Exposure to PLC-controlled equipment or basic electrical troubleshooting

• Welding or light fabrication experience

• Experience using a CMMS system

• Background in food or confectionery manufacturing

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Ability to work around heat, noise, and moving machinery
