We have an immediate job opening for a TOOL AND DIE TECHNICIAN at our Clarkesville, GA location. We offer a complete benefits package. Work Schedule
Monday – Thursday, 6:30 am – 5:00 pm.
Responsibilities
- Change dies to run various parts. Sharpen and maintain dies for production.
- Occasional machining as needed for die repair.
- Operate tool room equipment (lathes, milling machines, surface grinders, and drill presses)
- Check operations to verify compliance to blueprint specifications.
- Use specified measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, comparator)
- Work closely with Department Manager and Stamping Press Operators to resolve quality problems.
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret prints and work to close tolerances.
- 2-year degree in machine tool or equivalent experience
- 1 year die maintenance preferred
