Duties

• Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and standards
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change while maintaining accurate cash handling records
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries promptly
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas through regular cleaning and sanitizing procedures in compliance with food safety standards
• Assist with food handling and preparation tasks to support café operations and ensure quality standards are met
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly without compromising quality or safety

Experience

• Previous experience as a Barista or in food service is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with beverage preparation and customer interaction
• Knowledge of coffee industry practices, including beverage service and food handling techniques
• Experience using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for retail transactions
• Strong math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and basic accounting procedures
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse guests
• Ability to multitask efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
• Food safety certification or willingness to obtain training upon hire is advantageous
