What are the responsibilities and job description for the Route Delivery Driver position at Piece of Cake?
Piece of Cake Inc is an Atlanta based bakery that has been delivering specially baked cakes and treats both locally and shipping around the country. Today we have 9 retail locations and continue to grow!
We are accepting applications for part-time route delivery drivers who are quick on their feet. Drivers will deliver cakes, cupcakes, treats and varying supply items to retail locations.
This is a physical job. Shift starts at 430am.
Requirements

Consistent work history and reliable

Minimum 21 years of age with a valid driver's license

No more than two moving violations/accidents in the last three years

MUST be available the week prior to Thanksgiving and Christmas

Availability on weekends

Ability to frequently lift 15-25 lbs

Responsibilities

Follow proper delivery procedures including loading/unloading van

Runs routes efficiently meeting designated route time

Calls in when designated route time cannot be met

Follow all driver safety policies and traffic laws

Maintenance and upkeep of delivery vans

Other tasks assigned by a manager
