What are the responsibilities and job description for the Baker position at Pie Society?
Now hiring for an early morning Baker. MUST be able to start as early as 3am.
Pie Society is a British bakery located in Pooler GA, where everything is handmade from scratch using authentic, traditional recipes.
This is an entry level position where you'll have the opportunity to grow within the company and learn some great new skills. We are looking for an Apprentice Baker who will train to become one of our main bakers in the near future. The ideal candidate doesn't need any previous culinary experience but will be interested in food and baking and will be positive and very hard-working. This is a great opportunity to start off at the bottom and work your way to a very fun and fulfilling career. Responsibilities:
- Following our recipes to create hand crafted baked goods for the stores and wholesale
- Baking goods in the oven
- Learning to make pastries, pies etc. from scratch
- Delivering the baked goods to our 3 locations each morning in the
- Cleaning the bakery after production as needed
- Practicing good food hygiene at all times
This position starts very early in the morning depending on business demands and finishes at around noon.
Hours will be up to 40 per week, over 5 days typically Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Candidates must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
