Job Summary
We are a well established Princeton law firm, which provides personal and professional service. Our firm is technologically advanced with subscriptions to CLIO Practice Management software and Westlaw Co Counsel. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to join our legal team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to our estate administration and real estate clients, including a national real estate developer, ensuring smooth operations and efficient case management. This role will enable you to help people in navigating the legal world of estate administration and real estate transactions.
Duties
- Manage and organize estate administration files by meeting with clients, setting up timetables for legal deadlines, preparing Notices of Probate, drafting correspondence and Inheritance Tax Returns.
- Maintain deadlines for residential and commercial real estate transactions, prepare documents and schedule closings for a large national builder. Maintain the trust accounts for the escrows of the developer. The accounts are managed by Quickbooks and Excel.
- Assist with case management tasks including data entry, filing, and maintaining case files in compliance with firm policies.
- Provide executive administrative support by handling phone inquiries with professional etiquette and organizing internal communications
Requirements
- Proven experience in legal administrative roles or as a paralegal with familiarity in areas such as estate administration and real estate or related areas preferred
- Proficiency in Word, Quickbooks and Excel preferred
- Excellent writing skills for drafting correspondence and legal documents; keen proofreading abilities to ensure accuracy
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
