Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Specialist role based in New York, NY. The Sales Specialist will welcome and engage clients in the showroom, understand their project needs, and present appropriate wood flooring products, finishes, and design options. Daily responsibilities include managing the sales cycle from initial inquiry through closing, preparing quotes, processing orders, and coordinating with operations and warehouse teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery. The role also involves maintaining product knowledge, staying current on new collections and custom options, and providing guidance to clients, designers, and architects. The Sales Specialist will track leads and opportunities in the CRM system, provide after-sales support, and contribute to showroom merchandising and displays to enhance the client experience.

Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and the ability to present products and solutions to diverse clients.
- Proven Customer Service abilities with a client-focused mindset, including relationship-building and professional follow-up.
- Demonstrated Sales experience, including lead management, closing skills, and comfort working with sales targets and KPIs.
- Training and Sales Management skills, such as mentoring team members, sharing product knowledge, and supporting showroom best practices.
- Experience in luxury retail, interior design, architecture, or building materials is preferred; familiarity with wood flooring or construction is a plus.
- Ability to work on-site full-time in New York, NY, including some weekends or extended hours as business needs require.
- Proficiency with basic computer tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, CRM systems); strong organizational and time-management skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in Business, Design, or a related field is an advantage.
