About Picture Pros Photography

Picture Pros Photography is a growing youth sports photography company that works at tournaments and live sporting events across the country.

We are hiring dependable and competitive Photography Sales Representatives in the Fishers and Indianapolis area to photograph organized team photos, distribute ordering materials, speak directly with parents, and generate sales during weekend events.

This is not a photography only position. Taking strong team photos is an important part of the job, but the primary focus of the role is customer interaction and sales.

The Role

As a Photography Sales Representative, you will organize and photograph youth sports teams, distribute photo proofs or ordering materials, approach parents, explain available products, and help customers complete their purchases.

You will be expected to work efficiently, communicate clearly, remain professional, and take ownership of your individual performance.

What You Will Do

• Organize and position youth sports teams for group photos
• Direct athletes and coaches clearly and efficiently
• Capture sharp, properly exposed, professional team images
• Distribute photo proofs or ordering materials to assigned teams
• Approach parents and begin sales conversations
• Explain available photo products, packages, and pricing
• Help customers complete their orders
• Track assigned teams, photos, ordering materials, and sales activity
• Communicate with your Event Manager throughout the event
• Assist with setup, breakdown, loading, printing, and general event operations when needed
• Represent Picture Pros professionally at all times

This Role Is Primarily Sales

Photography is an important part of the position, but taking the photo is only the beginning.

Your main responsibility is turning strong team photos into completed sales.

You must be comfortable:

• Approaching parents instead of waiting for them to come to you
• Starting conversations with people you do not know
• Explaining the value of our products confidently
• Asking customers to complete their purchase
• Handling rejection professionally
• Maintaining energy throughout long event days
• Taking responsibility for your results

Candidates looking for a photography only role may not be a good fit for this position.

Compensation

Picture Pros offers performance based compensation.

Contractors who attend and complete all assigned days of a qualifying full event may be eligible for a $375 minimum event protection amount.

The minimum event protection amount is not paid in addition to commission.

You will receive the applicable minimum event protection or your earned commission, whichever is greater.

Example:

If your earned commission is $300, you may receive the $375 minimum event protection amount.

If your earned commission is $500, you may receive $500.

Commission is based on qualifying sales and the responsibilities assigned to you during the event.

Leaving early, arriving late, missing an assigned day, failing to complete responsibilities, or not following company procedures may result in reduced compensation or removal from future assignments.

Performance Expectations

Picture Pros operates in a performance based environment.

Performance may be measured by:

• Photo quality
• Completion of assigned team photos
• Number of teams successfully photographed
• Distribution of ordering materials
• Customer engagement
• Sales volume
• Sales conversion
• Reliability and attendance
• Communication
• Following company procedures

Specific performance and conversion standards will be explained during onboarding and before assigned events.

Contractors who repeatedly fail to meet communicated expectations may not be offered additional assignments.

You do not need to be the most experienced photographer.

Requirements

Applicants should have:

• A DSLR or mirrorless camera
• Reliable transportation
• Weekend availability
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Confidence approaching and speaking with parents
• The ability to organize and direct full teams
• The ability to stand and work for extended periods
• The ability to lift and carry event equipment when needed
• Basic comfort with computers, smartphones, printers, and mobile applications
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• A professional appearance and attitude
• The ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions
• The willingness to work in a commission based environment

Preferred Experience

Experience in any of the following areas is helpful but not required:

Schedule and Travel

Most events take place on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Assignments may involve:

• Early mornings
• Long event days
• Outdoor working conditions
• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Local travel throughout Fishers, Indianapolis, Westfield, Carmel, Noblesville, and surrounding areas
• Occasional overnight travel
• Travel to events throughout Indiana and nearby Midwest states
• Working multiple consecutive days

Weekend availability is required.

Travel availability is strongly preferred because additional opportunities may be available throughout Indiana and surrounding regions.
