Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Swimming Pool and Spa Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, cleaning, and repairing residential and commercial pools and spas. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in various outdoor environments. The Service Technician will ensure that all pools and spas are functioning efficiently, safely, and in accordance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine pool and spa maintenance, including cleaning filters, debris, and balancing chemicals
- Learn to, conduct equipment inspections and perform repairs on pumps, filters, heaters, and other pool systems
- Learn to, mechanical issues using hand tools and power tools to diagnose problems accurately
- Learn to install new pool equipment and upgrade existing systems as needed
- Maintain detailed service records of all work performed
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding service needs and maintenance recommendations
- Adhere to safety protocols during all maintenance activities to ensure a safe working environment
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair pool equipment
- Experience with equipment repair, pool maintenance, and cleaning procedures
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for repairs and installations
- Strong understanding of pool chemistry, water testing, and chemical balancing
- Service technician experience preferred but not required; training provided for the right candidate
- Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.31 - $29.28 per hour
