Role Description The Catering Assistant to Event Managers is a full-time, on-site role based in Colorado Springs, CO. This role supports Event Managers in coordinating and executing catered events, including weddings, corporate gatherings, and social functions. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing event details, assisting with event setup and breakdown, helping with food and beverage service, and ensuring that client expectations are met throughout the event. The Catering Assistant will also handle administrative tasks such as preparing documents, updating event schedules, answering phones, and relaying information between kitchen, event staff, and clients. This position requires regular interaction with guests, vendors, and internal teams, maintaining a professional, service-focused, and efficient environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills to support event documentation, scheduling, and office tasks.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Phone Etiquette skills for interacting with clients, guests, vendors, and internal staff.
- Candidates should possess Executive Administrative Assistance capabilities to help Event Managers with planning, coordination, and follow-up activities.
- Experience in hospitality, events, or catering environments is beneficial.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with scheduling or event management tools are a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in hospitality or event management is an advantage.
Pay range from $23-$25.00 per hour with benefits
