Pickle Jam Salsa Kitchen is seeking enthusiastic and outgoing Sales Associates to represent our brand at retail events, farmers markets, festivals, trade shows, and community events. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy customer interaction, food sampling, and helping grow a local gourmet food business.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, plus bonus and commission opportunities based on event sales performance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Set up and break down retail booths and displays
- Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service
- Offer product samples and explain product flavors and ingredients
- Promote and sell our gourmet pickles, jams, salsas, fruit butters, seasoning mixes, and specialty food products
- Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments accurately
- Maintain attractive product displays and inventory levels
- Answer customer questions and provide product recommendations
- Assist with loading and unloading products and event supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales area
- Represent Pickle Jam Salsa Kitchen professionally and positively at all times
Qualifications:
- Previous retail, customer service, farmers market, food service, or sales experience preferred
- Friendly, energetic, and dependable personality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods during events
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally for events
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays
- Self-motivated with a passion for sales and customer engagement
