Pickerington Local School District (PLSD) is seeking qualified applicants for a Campus Security position at Pickerington High School Central.
This is a 7.5-hours per day position, 188 day contract.
Position is for the 26-27 contract year and a one-year limited contract for the 26-27 contract year. Contract will be non-renewed after the 26-27 contract year.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalency
- Experience with video/surveillance equipment preferred
- Ability to anticipate problems and unforeseen events and deal with them in an appropriate manner
- Ability to maintain a calm attitude and sense of control at all times
- Ability to make proper decisions when required
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing
- Must possess high moral character
- Must be friendly, dependable and exhibit a strong work ethic
- Ability to maintain and respect confidential information and situations
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing situations
- Ability to work well with students, staff and parents of diverse populations
