Summary
As a Care Aide, you will be essential in providing compassionate support and assistance to individuals in long-term care and home settings. Reporting to the Care Manager, your core responsibilities will include personal care, meal preparation, and facilitating daily activities for residents. Your premium skills in first aid, Alzheimer’s care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities will enhance the quality of care provided. With a focus on resident rights and dignity, you will play a vital role in promoting a safe and nurturing environment for all clients. Qualifications
- Experience in long-term care and home & community care settings
- Proficient in personal care and caregiving techniques
- Knowledge of first aid and assisted living practices
- Familiarity with activities of daily living (ADLs) and memory care
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and Alzheimer's
- Understanding of resident's rights and senior care principles
- Ability to perform meal preparation and maintain a clean environment
- High School Graduate
- Direct Care Worker certification for Pennsylvania
- CPR certified
