Job Summary
Looking for 5 new 1099 delivery drivers for LOCAL small parcel doorstep delivery (no furniture or appliances)!
We provide the van. We pay for fuel. NOT AMAZON! NO CDL REQUIRED
Routes are typically 100 packages!
If for any reason our client cancels last minute and there are no routes for the day, we still pay you the FULL DAY RATE.
Requirements
- 21 years of age or older
- Valid drivers license
- Ability to lift up to 50lb packages
Duties
- Safely operate COMPANY PROVIDED delivery cargo van, following all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Load, unload, and organize packages
- Utilize smart phone and company provided tech for efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and ensure on-time deliveries
- Interact professionally with customers as needed during drop-offs, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns
- Load and secure packages properly to prevent damage during transit
- Maintain professional appearance and vehicle inspection reports
Preferred Skills
- Proven experience in delivery driving or courier roles with a strong focus on route driving efficiency
- Customer service skills that foster positive interactions with clients
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate cargo van
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, moving, loading/unloading cargo
- Familiarity with driving regulations for courier services
