Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care in both urgent care and primary care settings, managing patients independently.
- Perform detailed patient assessments, including history, physical exams, and clinical evaluations.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions using evidence-based practices.
- Suturing, wound care, and minor procedures
- Incision & drainage
- Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe medications in accordance with Georgia state regulations.
- Deliver exceptional patient education focused on prevention, wellness, and chronic disease management.
- Coordinate care with specialists to ensure continuity and optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Epic EMR.
- Meet and maintain all Medicare and payer quality metrics (MIPS, HEDIS, etc.).
- Manage patient flow efficiently while maintaining high-quality care and patient satisfaction.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold clinical excellence
Qualifications:
- Active Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) license in the state of Georgia (Required)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Urgent Care and/or Primary Care as an FNP (Preferred)
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions
- Experience with Epic EMR or similar electronic medical record systems (Preferred)
- Knowledge of medical coding, billing practices, and documentation requirements (Preferred)
- Solid understanding of state and federal regulations, including OSHA and HIPAA compliance (Required)
- Familiarity with Medicare guidelines, quality metrics (MIPS, HEDIS), and value-based care models (Preferred)
- Experience in Women’s Health (Preferred)
- Proven ability to build strong rapport with patients and deliver patient-centered care
- Ability to manage high patient volume in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and accountability

Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
