The Pickaway County Educational Service Center (ESC) is seeking a qualified and student-centered School Psychologist to join our team. This position provides an opportunity to work collaboratively with school districts, educators, and families to support the academic, social, and emotional success of students across Pickaway County.

Position Overview
The School Psychologist provides psychological and educational evaluations, consultation, and intervention services to support student learning and well-being. The successful candidate will work as part of multidisciplinary teams to assist in identifying student needs, supporting special education services, and promoting positive school climates.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to support eligibility for special education services.
- Administer, score, and interpret cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments.
- Participate in multidisciplinary evaluation teams and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop strategies that support student success.
- Assist with the development of behavior intervention plans and academic interventions.
- Provide consultation on social-emotional learning, behavioral supports, and mental health needs.
- Support school teams in implementing data-driven decision making and evidence-based interventions.
- Participate in crisis response and prevention efforts as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal special education requirements.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Specialist Degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- Valid Ohio license or certification as a School Psychologist (or ability to obtain).
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with school-age children preferred.
