Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join our team as a CNC Fabrication Technician. Previous hands-on experience operating press brake equipment, CNC machinery, laser tables, laser tube cutters, and plasma cutting tables a plus, but willing to train highly motivated, coachable individuals. The ideal candidate will be involved in producing high-quality metal components according to specifications while maintaining safety, efficiency, and accuracy in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, program, and operate press brake machines to bend and form metal components
- Operate CNC machines for cutting, shaping, and machining parts to precise tolerances
- Run and maintain laser cutting tables and laser tube cutting equipment
- Operate plasma cutting tables for various fabrication needs
- Interpret technical drawings, and work orders accurately
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
- Adjust machine settings to optimize production efficiency and minimize waste
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification a plus
- Experience a plus in operating press brake, CNC machines, laser cutters, and plasma tables
- Basic understanding of metal fabrication processes and materials
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing/shop environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CAD/CAM software
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain one)
- Prior experience in a high-volume production setting
