Aquatic Advisor — Full Time
Location: Lenexa | In store
Pay: $15–$25 per hour
Schedule: Minimum 40 hours per week, with an expected schedule of 46 hours per week

Help people discover the enjoyment of keeping an aquarium while learning the skills to care for aquatic animals and guide customers with confidence. We’re looking for a full-time Aquatic Advisor to join our Lenexa team.
An interest in aquariums is a plus. We provide training to help you teach customers how to set up new aquariums and sell aquarium installations in store.
What you’ll do
- Welcome customers, answer questions, and help them choose aquariums, equipment, supplies, and livestock suited to their needs.
- Teach customers how to set up and care for a new aquarium.
- Learn to guide customers through purchasing new aquarium installations.
- Help with daily care of the animals and aquarium systems at our Lenexa location, including feeding, water testing, and water changes.
- Monitor animal health and report concerns to the team.
- Keep aquariums, displays, and work areas clean and organized.
- Assist the service team and support daily store operations.
What we’re looking for
- High school diploma or GED required.
- A friendly attitude and a willingness to help customers learn.
- Dependability, attention to detail, and a commitment to animal care.
- A willingness to learn aquarium care, product knowledge, and sales skills.
- An interest in aquariums is a plus.
Pay and benefits
- $15–$25 per hour.
- Raises every 12 months. Based on performance and attitude.
