Instructional Technology Coach
Position Summary
The Instructional Technology & Systems Coach supports the effective use of instructional and operational technology across Picacho Elementary School District. This position serves as the primary liaison between the district and technology vendors, curriculum platform providers, and support teams. The coach provides staff training, technical assistance, and ongoing support to ensure district technology systems and instructional platforms operate effectively and enhance teaching, learning, and organizational efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as the district's primary point of contact for instructional technology platforms, software applications, and technology vendors.
- Coordinate communication and support between district staff and platform technical support teams.
- Oversee the functionality and implementation of district technology systems, instructional programs, and digital learning platforms.
- Provide training and coaching to teachers and staff on the effective use of instructional technology, curriculum resources, and digital tools.
- Support the implementation and management of curriculum and assessment platforms.
- Assist staff with troubleshooting technology issues and coordinate resolutions with appropriate vendors or support providers.
- Develop and deliver professional development related to technology integration and digital learning tools.
- Monitor platform usage and provide recommendations for improving effectiveness and user experience.
- Collaborate with district and school leadership to support technology initiatives aligned with district goals.
- Maintain documentation, procedures, and resources for district technology systems and instructional platforms.
- Stay current on emerging educational technology tools and best practices.
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona teaching certificate preferred.
- Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Experience in classroom instruction and educational technology.
- Knowledge of instructional technology platforms, student information systems, assessment programs, and digital curriculum resources.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience providing professional development and coaching to adults.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to staff with varying levels of technology proficiency.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and educational technology applications.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with district staff, administrators, vendors, and support providers.
