About the Role: The Engineering Director is responsible for shaping strategic direction, building and leading a high-performing engineering team, and fostering a culture of innovation and creative design. This individual will independently develop and execute a vision that positions Angelus as a leader in Aerospace and Defense interconnect solutions.
Responsibilities:

- Lead with Vision: Define and execute long-term engineering strategies, technical road maps, and annual initiatives aligned with company goals.
- Preferred Experience: Experience with Defense, Aerospace, and Interconnect products is Highly Preferred!
- Build & Inspire Teams: Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing engineering leaders and teams.
- Drive Innovation: Foster a creative, forward-thinking engineering culture that supports breakthrough product development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Master’s preferred)
- 12 years of engineering experience (aerospace/defense preferred)
- 4 years leading engineering leaders
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with budgeting and continuous improvement
