- Experience developing operating, maintenance, or commissioning procedures
- Comfortable performing field walkdowns and validating documentation against as-built systems

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop and update technical procedures including startup, shutdown, operating, and maintenance instructions
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and system documentation to support procedure development
- Perform field walkdowns to validate procedures against installed equipment and systems
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to gather and verify technical information
- Ensure documentation meets client standards, formatting guidelines, and revision control requirements
- Organize and maintain technical documentation libraries and revision histories
- Incorporate markups, redlines, and feedback into finalized documents
- Strong understanding of power plant systems or heavy industrial equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics (P&IDs, electrical diagrams, etc.)
- Experience writing clear, concise technical procedures for operations or maintenance
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple documents and revisions
- Effective communication skills for working with cross-functional teams on-site
- Ability to work independently in a plant environment
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2 years of technical writing experience in power generation or heavy industrial settings
- 2 years of operations, maintenance, or engineering support experience preferred
- Military experience (especially Navy nuclear) is a plus
- Experience with AutoCAD or technical drawing tools is a plus
