- Ability to support incident investigations, prepare clear documentation, and assist with corrective and preventive action development.
- Proven capability to deliver safety training, engage with employees and subcontractors, and reinforce a proactive, site-wide safety culture.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform routine safety inspections to ensure compliance with site procedures, safety plans, and regulatory requirements
- Identify hazardous conditions or unsafe acts and support corrective and preventive measures.
- Examine equipment, machinery, and work environments for safety risks including ergonomics, noise, heat, and vibration; document findings with photos as needed.
- Monitor subcontractor activities and plant work to ensure adherence to all safety and EHS management systems.
- Participate in incident investigations, assist with root cause analysis, and prepare accurate incident reports with supporting documentation.
- Conduct EHS safety training, orientations, and educational sessions for employees, contractors, and new or trainee personnel.
- Participate in construction kick-off meetings and pre-job discussions to reinforce safety expectations and communicate potential hazards.
- Encourage proactive hazard reporting, promote safe work practices, and support continuous improvement of site safety programs.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and general industry safety practices.
- Experience conducting field safety inspections and supporting incident investigations.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with employees, contractors, and plant leadership.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to perform field walkdowns, including climbing ladders, navigating industrial environments, and wearing required PPE.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- OSHA 30 strongly preferred; additional safety certifications are a plus.
- HS Diploma required; Additional technical, safety, or EHS-related education preferred.
- 3 years of safety/EHS experience in industrial, utility, construction, or power generation environments.
- Must have and be able to maintain a state issued drivers license.
