The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional service, and maintaining high standards in all aspects of the restaurant. This role involves managing staff, enhancing customer satisfaction, and ensuring efficient and profitable business operations.
Key Responsibilities of this position include:
Operational Management-Assist in managing day to day restaurant operations.
Staff Supervision-Assist in hiring, training and management restaurant staff.
Customer Service-Ensure excellent customer service and address any complaints and feedback as necessary.
Marketing and Promotion-work with Marketing team to support promotional items. Generate ideas to increase revenue.
Compliance and Safety-Maintain a safe working environment for employees and guests.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager or in a similar role.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Knowledge of restaurant management software and point-of-sale systems.
Knowledge of beer, wine and spirits.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
High school diploma or equivalent
