What are the responsibilities and job description for the Piano Mover position at Piano Outlet LLC?
The ideal candidate is physically fit, mentally strong, able to handle multiple tasks efficiently, works well under pressure, and has a humble attitude. You will be working with experienced and professional mover mainly.
Duties
- Load and unload pianos from a Mercedes Sprinter van with a liftgate.
- Drive Sprinter vans to delivery destinations (no special license required).
- Assist with packing and unpacking items.
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding delivery times.
- Load and unload pianos to and from shipping containers using a forklift.
- Clean and refurbish pianos.
(We will train and teach you to make sure you have the necessary skills)
Who We Are Looking For
- Physically fit and comfortable lifting 100 lbs with a team
- Able to drive long distances throughout Southern California.(sometimes to Bay Area)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow verbal instructions.
- Experience in furniture or piano moving is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license (clean driving record preferred).
- Positive attitude, patient, motivated, and willing to learn.
Additional Information
- Starts as a part-time position, with the opportunity to become full-time in the future.
- Flexible schedule.
- Typical workdays are Tuesday through Thursday.
