Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent knife skills, and experience in the food industry, particularly in pizza making and kitchen operations. The Pizza Cook will be responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting overall kitchen operations to ensure a seamless dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare recipes and menu items, make dough from scratch, and cook pizzas in our wood-fired oven.
- Ensure quality and consistency.
- Follow proper safety and sanitation procedures when handling food, and operate kitchen equipment like ovens, mixers, and knives safely and efficiently.
- Keep the kitchen clean and sanitizing work areas, monitor inventory, and let management know when supplies are needed.
- Work with the team to keep food preparation on track during busy times, and make sure all food handling meets health regulations and safety standards.

Requirements
- Previous experience in a culinary or food service environment, preferably with pizza or restaurant experience.
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Experience with meal preparation, and cooking techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting
- Excellent teamwork, communication skills, and attention to detail
- Culinary experience in fine dining or catering is a plus
- Food industry background with knowledge of kitchen operations is preferred
