- Conduct powertrain function analysis and decomposition.
- Perform requirement elicitation from system to software level, ensuring traceability across the V-cycle.
- Create propulsion system high-level functional requirement artifacts using IBM DOORS/DOORS Next Gen (DNG), including attribute classifications.
- Identify, analyze, and document propulsion system operating modes in DNG.
- Develop requirements for propulsion system energy conversion, storage, and delivery, ensuring compliance with standards and On-Board Diagnostics (OBD).
- Participate in Agile methodology for backlog planning and risk identification.
- Build simulation/virtual models for propulsion features/functions using MATLAB and SysML Rhapsody.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Electronics, or related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in conventional and hybrid powertrain development.
- Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics and overall vehicle system functioning.
- Solid knowledge of automotive powertrain architecture.
- Proficiency in requirement management tools such as IBM DOORS Next Gen.
- Experience with Vector Tools for data collection.
- Background in vehicle validation or powertrain calibration.
- Familiarity with Agile project management practices.
- Experience across the full vehicle development cycle and change management processes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead cross-functional team meetings.
