About The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Power Electrical Engineer to join the Formal Verification Test Team. This role is key to validating complex embedded systems and motor drive solutions used in critical actuator applications. You will be responsible for configuration checkout, test execution, and verification case development for our MCU1 boards, collaborating closely with technicians and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Participate actively in the Formal Verification Test Team.
Perform configuration checkout and testing of MCU1 boards.
Develop, document, and execute formal verification test cases and procedures.
Collaborate with technicians to conduct precise and effective testing.
Utilize ARINC 429 protocols and Holt IC's hostless ARINC 429 devices.
Work with Texas Instruments' UC2625 and embedded development tools.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
10 years of experience working with embedded systems (analog/digital electronic circuits).
5 years of experience with 270VDC motor drive bridges.
Deep knowledge of isolated motor drives and galvanically isolated feedback/control systems.
Familiarity with formal design standards, particularly DO-254 guidance.
5 years of experience using Altium for ECAD tasks (schematic capture, PCB layout, and component libraries).
Strong communication and technical documentation skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Texas Instruments' Code Composer Studio and SM320F28335.
Proficiency in ARINC 429, I C, SPI, and JTAG protocols.
Hands-on experience with motor control systems including PMSMs and BLDCs.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to lead and work collaboratively within engineering teams.
Capable of clearly communicating complex technical information to diverse audiences.
