We are looking for a Founding CTO to lead our technology vision and build the technical foundation that supports both client delivery and long-term product innovation.
Role Overview:
As Founding CTO, you will define PiPro’s overall technical strategy while building scalable technology capabilities across consulting engagements, internal product development, and enterprise AI solutions.
You will be responsible for transforming early-stage prototypes into production-grade platforms, architecting modern enterprise technology stacks, and serving as the primary technical leader for both internal development and customer-facing engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
A)Technology Leadership
- Define company-wide technology strategy, architecture standards, and long-term technical roadmap
- Serve as primary technical leader for enterprise consulting engagements, product development, and federal contract opportunities
- Evaluate emerging technologies and guide strategic technical decisions for the company
B)Platform Engineering & Architecture
- Lead migration of prototype applications built on AI-assisted / low-code platforms into commercial-grade production systems
- Design scalable SaaS, API-driven, cloud-native enterprise architectures
- Build end-to-end modern technology stack including frontend, backend, security, CI/CD, observability, and deployment pipelines
C)Cloud, Data & AI Platforms
- Architect enterprise solutions using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Design modern data platforms supporting analytics, machine learning, AI agents, LLM applications, vector search, and RAG architectures
- Build scalable infrastructure for AI model deployment, monitoring, governance, and enterprise integrations
D)Customer & Solution Engineering
- Engage directly with enterprise customers to design technical solutions addressing complex business challenges
- Translate customer requirements into scalable AI, ML, and data architecture solutions
- Support technical solutioning for corporate partnerships and federal contracting opportunities
E)Team Building
- Build and lead future engineering teams as company scales
- Establish engineering standards, development processes, and technical best practices
Qualifications
- Strong experience building production-grade SaaS or enterprise software platforms
- Expertise in at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience designing modern enterprise architectures, distributed systems, APIs, and secure cloud infrastructure
- Experience building AI/ML platforms, data pipelines, analytics systems, LLM applications, and agentic AI solutions
- Ability to take products from prototype/MVP to scalable commercial deployment
- Strong technical communication skills with ability to engage directly with enterprise customers and technical stakeholders
- Startup mindset with ability to operate in fast-moving early-stage environments
