Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Develop comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management tools to coordinate tasks efficiently.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts for accurate project delivery.
- Utilize construction estimating and HeavyBid software to prepare accurate cost projections and manage project budgets effectively.
- Oversee construction site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality control protocols.
- Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and progress reports.
- Facilitate communication across all project stakeholders through regular updates and meetings to maintain momentum and resolve issues promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in construction site operations and project coordination.
- Proficiency with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, and other relevant tools.
- Solid understanding of construction estimating processes and blueprint reading skills.
- Familiarity with contracts management and schematic interpretation for diverse project types.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling techniques and construction management best practices.
- Civil or structural engineering background is a plus; relevant certifications such as PMP or OSHA are advantageous.
