Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master to support our Field Experience value stream. This role will drive initiatives from inception through delivery while promoting Agile best practices across both technology and business teams. The Senior Scrum Master will partner closely with Product Owners, value stream delivery leads, and cross-functional stakeholders and will report to the Release Train Engineer (RTE). This individual will play a key role in coaching teams, optimizing delivery, and advancing Agile maturity across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Agile project facilitation across the technology portfolio
- Drive delivery from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with sprint and Program Increment (PI) goals
- Act as a hands-on coach and mentor to Scrum teams to achieve high performance
- Guide teams on Agile principles and best practices to maximize delivery effectiveness
- Support Product Owners in backlog development, refinement, and prioritization
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives)
- Represent teams in Scrum of Scrums and cross-team coordination forums
- Monitor Agile adherence and ensure transparency in progress reporting
- Track and report Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, predictability)
- Identify and remove impediments to team progress and proactively resolve conflicts
- Foster strong collaboration, accountability, and self-organization within teams
- Support the adoption of Agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Mentor teams in leveraging AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to improve planning and execution
- Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and participation in the Agile Community of Practice
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Proven experience coaching and mentoring technical teams
- Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Experience managing multiple complex technology projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and large-scale workshops
- Experience working in financial services or similarly regulated environments
Salary : $48 - $50
