Senior Business Analyst – Finance Systems Testing

Our client a well known Investment Bank is seeking a Senior Business Analyst – Finance Systems Testing in their New York, New York location!

Typical Day in Role:

• Testing the accounting logic for the Oracle ledger system (PeopleSoft, OFSAA, FAH)
• Interaction with the finance IT team to explain requirements and pressure test scalability of the business
• Explaining test results and requirements to the finance users
• Document test plans and results and any new requirements that arise from testing
• Regular interaction with finance management and wider project team

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

• 10 years of experience as a BA
• 8 years of testing experience (test planning, execution, sign-off)
• Hands-on experience with Oracle ledger system (PeopleSoft, OFSAA, FAH)
• 5 years of experience with accounting methodology within the banking industry
• Strong proficiency with Excel (v-look ups, Pivot Tables, etc.)

Nice-To-Have Skills:

• Bilingual in Spanish
• Alteryx/PowerBI skills

Education:

• Post-Secondary degree/diploma in accounting/finance or related field.
