Our client a well known Investment Bank is seeking a Senior Business Analyst – Finance Systems Testing in their New York, New York location!
Typical Day in Role:
- Testing the accounting logic for the Oracle ledger system (PeopleSoft, OFSAA, FAH)
- Interaction with the finance IT team to explain requirements and pressure test scalability of the business
- Explaining test results and requirements to the finance users
- Document test plans and results and any new requirements that arise from testing
- Regular interaction with finance management and wider project team
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
- 10 years of experience as a BA
- 8 years of testing experience (test planning, execution, sign-off)
- Hands-on experience with Oracle ledger system (PeopleSoft, OFSAA, FAH)
- 5 years of experience with accounting methodology within the banking industry
- Strong proficiency with Excel (v-look ups, Pivot Tables, etc.)
Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Alteryx/PowerBI skills
Education:
- Post-Secondary degree/diploma in accounting/finance or related field.
Salary : $70 - $80
