Our Client, a Global Financial Services Firm, is seeking a Remote Accounting Analyst – General Ledger Transformation Consultant for a 2 Month Project.
**MUST be local to New York, NY
Responsibilities
- Support the transition from one General Ledger system to another, including data and process mapping
- Work closely with senior leadership to analyze and improve accounting workflows
- Assist in preparing and structuring financial data for AI-driven initiatives
- Partner with accounting teams to ensure alignment with US GAAP standards
- Act as a liaison between accounting and technical teams throughout the transformation
- Utilize Excel to analyze data, identify trends, and support decision making
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA or progress toward CPA preferred
- Strong understanding of US GAAP
- Experience in public accounting (Big 4 or similar) is a plus
- Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables, VBA is a plus
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across both accounting and technical teams
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-based environment
Salary : $30 - $35
