What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist Assistant position at PhysioCare Physical Therapy?
Join Our Team in Duvall as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Help Transform Lives-One Patient at a Time
At PhysioCare Physical Therapy, we believe healthcare should be deeply personal, compassionate, and centered around the community we serve. For nearly 20 years, we've been proud to provide the Duvall and Woodinville area with 1-on-1, patient-focused care in a warm and supportive environment. Our approach goes beyond treatment-it's about building meaningful relationships, fostering trust, and empowering people to reclaim their health and quality of life.
We are looking for a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) who is enthusiastic, dependable, and eager to make a real difference in people's lives. This is more than just a job; it's an opportunity to bring your skills and heart for patient care into a beautiful small-town setting where every member of the team-and every patient-matters.
Why Work at PhysioCare?
At PhysioCare, your work has real meaning. As a PTA, you'll see firsthand how the care you provide transforms lives, whether it's helping a patient walk again after surgery, guiding someone back into sports, or giving a parent the ability to pick up their child without pain. Because we take a long-term approach with our patients, you'll have the unique opportunity to witness the lasting impact of your efforts and to celebrate victories-big and small-alongside the people you treat.
You'll also find yourself part of a team that genuinely enjoys working together. Our culture is collaborative, supportive, and fun, grounded in values of passion and respect. Whether it's sharing ideas in team huddles, cheering each other on in the clinic, or laughing together between patients, we know that a positive workplace makes for better care. Being locally owned and operated means that your voice won't get lost in a corporate shuffle. We listen to our staff, value their ideas, and create an environment where you can thrive both personally and professionally.
Professional growth is another cornerstone of what we offer. Whether you're a recent graduate eager to learn or a seasoned PTA looking to refine your expertise, you'll have access to mentorship, continuing education, and the kind of support that keeps your skills sharp and your career moving forward. Add to that a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits-including medical, dental, and vision insurance-401(k) with employer match, and generous paid time off, and you'll see why so many therapists choose PhysioCare as the place to grow their careers.
Why You'll Love Duvall
Working in Duvall means more than just finding a job-it's finding a community. Nestled along the Snoqualmie River, Duvall offers the perfect blend of small-town charm and natural beauty, all within a short, reverse commute from the Eastside. That means you'll spend less time stuck in gridlock and more time enjoying what matters most.
The town itself is vibrant and welcoming. Imagine starting your day with coffee from a local café or grabbing lunch from one of the excellent restaurants or food trucks just steps away from the clinic. Throughout the year, the community comes alive with events like the Duvall Days Festival, farmers markets, live music in the park, and art walks that highlight the town's creative spirit. If you love the outdoors, you'll find endless opportunities nearby, from hiking trails and kayaking spots to scenic drives and mountain adventures. Working here allows you to enjoy both a rewarding career and a lifestyle that keeps you refreshed and inspired.
What We're Looking For
To join our team, you'll need a current Washington State PTA license (or an interim permit if you're just starting out). Just as important as your credentials is your approach to care-we're seeking someone with a heart for patients, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic clinic setting. Being a team player is essential, as collaboration with our physical therapists and staff is at the core of how we provide care.
What You'll Do
As a PTA at PhysioCare, you'll work closely with our Physical Therapists to deliver hands-on, high-quality treatment. Your role will involve helping patients restore strength, mobility, and confidence, while also keeping treatment plans on track and documenting progress with accuracy and professionalism. Beyond technical skills, you'll serve as a coach, motivator, and advocate for patients, ensuring they feel supported every step of the way. You'll also uphold the professional, ethical, and legal standards that guide our practice, helping to maintain the integrity and reputation of the clinic.
