Physics Instructor
The Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics (OSSM) is seeking a physics instructor to teach college-level physics courses.
OSSM is an academic emphasis, 2-year, residential high school located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. OSSM consistently ranks as one of the top 10 high schools in the United States (currently ranked 7th by Niche.com and 2nd by Wall Street 24/7).
General Characteristics And Qualifications
Possesses the professionalism, maturity, excellence, and teamwork that align with the OSSM mission and values. Possesses an enthusiastic and inspiring teaching approach with a student-centered mindset. Possesses strong academic credentials with a master’s degree in physics or related field; Ph.D. preferred. Possesses experience teaching advanced and introductory courses such as General Physics, Mechanics, and Electricity & Magnetism at the undergraduate or high school level.
Salary & Benefits
Salary is competitive and commensurate with credentials. Benefits include health, 401(a) Plan, 457 Plan, teachers’ retirement, and others. Faculty Endowment
