- Physicians Surgical Hospitals includes two surgical centers - Panhandle Surgical Hospital and Quail Creek Surgical Hospital, and one physical therapy center - Quail Creek Physical Therapy - and a state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging center, Advanced Imaging Center of Amarillo.
- The Radiology Technician performs diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions.
- This role requires a high level of technical skill, attention to patient care, and strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
- The Radiology Technician works closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced hospital environment to deliver high-quality imaging services.
Job Requirements :
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT (R) Certification.
- MRT License from the Texas Medical Board.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
- 1 year of experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and EMR systems.
