- Physicians Surgical Hospitals includes two surgical centers - Panhandle Surgical Hospital and Quail Creek Surgical Hospital- one physical therapy center - Quail Creek Physical Therapy - and a state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging center, the Advanced Imaging Center of Amarillo.
- The Registration Assistant Lead is responsible for overseeing daily registration activities in the clinic to ensure patients are welcomed, accurately registered, and provided with excellent customer service.
- This role supports front desk operations, verifies insurance and demographic information, assists with scheduling, and serves as a first point of escalation for registration staff.
- The Lead provides guidance, training, and support to the registration team while maintaining productivity and compliance standards.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in patient registration, scheduling, or healthcare front office.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of HIPAA.
- Prior experience in a lead or senior registration role.
- College or coursework in healthcare administration or business.
- Experience in a busy clinical setting.
- Bilingual proficiency may be an advantage.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and database management.
