Medical Receptionist Responsibilities:

• Welcome and assist patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner
• Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and direct calls appropriately
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments to optimize provider and patient flow
• Maintain accurate patient records by filing, updating, and retrieving documentation
• Assist with patient intake and check-in procedures
• Ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming front office environment
• Support clinic operations by assisting with general administrative tasks
• Provide excellent customer service while addressing patient questions and concerns

Therapy Care Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Coordinate patient scheduling for therapy services and manage appointment flow
• Assist with inbound and outbound referrals to support clinic operations
• Verify insurance benefits and obtain authorizations for treatment when required
• Maintain and update patient demographic and insurance information accurately
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation within EMR systems
• Communicate with patients regarding appointments, coverage, and next steps in care
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure efficient and coordinated patient care
• Maintain confidentiality of all patient health and financial information in accordance with HIPAA regulations

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of experience in a medical office, outpatient clinic, or physical therapy setting preferred
• Experience with EMR systems and insurance verification preferred (ECW)
• Strong customer service, communication, and telephone skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong willingness to learn
