Physician Assistant - Emergency Dept

PPE is seeking an experienced and motivated Physician Assistant to join our Emergency Medicine team on a per diem basis at Carewell Health in E. Orange, NJ

Carewell Medical Center is a boutique community hospital serving Essex County, a place where every patient is family. Formerly known as East Orange General Hospital, we are the sole independent, acute care hospital in Essex County.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and manage patients with acute illnesses and injuries

• Perform focused physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests

• Initiate treatment plans and procedures under physician supervision

• Collaborate closely with emergency physicians, nurses, and support staff

Qualifications:

• Current NJ PA license & NCCPA certification

• Emergency Medicine or urgent care experience preferred

• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
