Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients in selecting frames, lenses and lens options that best fit their prescriptions, lifestyle, and budget.
- Accurately measure, fit, and adjust eyewear for optimal visions and comfort.
- Order contact lenses and eyewear from suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy.
- File vision insurance claims for exams, glasses, and contact lenses.
- Verify patient benefits and explain coverage details clearly to patients.
- Handle repairs, adjustments and warranty claims for eyewear.
- Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming optical environment.
- Uphold company values through professionalism, reliability, and teamwork.
- Previous optical and customer service experience required.
- Familiarity with VSP and other vision insurance systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude, excellent people skills, and a strong work ethic.
