Physicians Mutual is looking to hire a Select Analyst to join the Marketing Analytics & Operations team. This role is Responsible for the design, development and implementation of promotional offers – for every distribution and product line – on behalf of our company. Analyzes promotion work plans or Precoa list order forms, to determine list selection criteria. Identifies database and suppression requirements. Translates and programs selection criteria into campaign management selection tools and codes offers to carry out objectives indicated in marketing plans. Execute campaigns with 100% accuracy, launching millions of dollars of promotions to the right people at the right time.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to use direct marketing systems (Campaign Planning Application, Response, STAR and PREG)
- Strong knowledge of direct response marketing including list utilization; segmentation analysis; merge purge processing; integrated database marketing; testing strategies; modeling, etc.
- Strong knowledge of insurance products and prospect/customer demographics and market research.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical and investigative skills.
- Excellent knowledge of software tools, including Aprimo, Hyperion, Excel, Access, Word, and Tableau.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal personnel, as well as external vendors and business partners is critical.
- Self-motivated and able to work under minimal supervision while exercising independent and thorough decision-making skills with an attention to detail and concern for achieving goals.
- Flexible and proactive.
- Well-developed verbal/written communication skills and ability to present information in a logical and useful format.
- Ability to plan, prioritize and follow through on concurrent projects to meet established standards and deadlines.
- Liaison with internal and external teams.
- Develops and maintains relationships with internal and external customers and vendors to build a team environment, ensures communication and cooperation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related discipline.
3 years of direct marketing experience. - Experience using database query tools such as Salesforce, Journey Builder, etc.
- Must be experienced using Excel.
- Strong knowledge of direct response marketing: list utilization, segmentation analysis, merge purge processing, integrated database marketing, testing strategies, and modeling.
- Self-motivated and effective with minimal supervision
- Effective communication skills (written, verbal and listening)
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical & investigative skills.
