Physicians Mutual is hiring a Licensing Compliance Specialist to join our Licensing & Commissions Department. This role is essential in supporting our distribution channels by ensuring agents meet all licensing and compliance requirements while maintaining accurate records and providing strong administrative support.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate licensing, contracting, and termination processes for agents across multiple distribution channels.
- Maintain and manage multiple systems for licensing, appointments, and continuing education (CE) tracking.
- Ensure compliance with all State and Federal insurance regulations.
- Develop and update training materials and process manuals to support licensing and compliance functions.
- Provide administrative support, troubleshoot technical issues, and assist field personnel with licensing questions.
What You’ll Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in Business Administration is a plus.
- 2 years of administrative experience, ideally with exposure to compliance, licensing, or related processes.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, with strong database management and online research skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, organize information effectively, and work independently under strict deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with agents, internal teams, and external partners.
