Role Description
This full time position for a Nurse Practitioner is an on-site role based in Paramus, NJ. The Nurse Practitioner will manage patient care by conducting thorough physical examinations, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, prescribing medications, and interpreting diagnostic tests. Coordination with physicians in areas such as Rheumatology, Pulmonology, and Primary Care will be essential. The role also involves patient education, maintaining medical records, and contributing to the overall quality of care provided by the practice.
Rounding at Valley Hospital will be to cover our hospitalitis about 2-4 times a month for Internal medicine and pulmonary patients.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability in conducting physical exams, diagnosing, and managing medical conditions.
- Expertise in patient care areas including Rheumatology, Pulmonology, Sleep Medicine, and Primary Care helpful but willing to train
- Proficiency in prescribing medications and interpreting diagnostic tests to guide treatment plans.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide patient education and collaborate with a multi-specialty team.
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in New Jersey and certification in the relevant specialty.
- Experience in a clinical or primary care setting is helpful but not neccessary.
- Ability to provide compassionate and personalized care to a diverse patient population.

- Salary starting at $130k for new graduates with possibility for bonus
- $150k and up for those with experience in office clinical setting and/or inpatienf hospital experience
