Part-Time Medical Sales
Physician’s Liaison, a national healthcare marketing firm, is seeking an experienced and motivated Healthcare Sales & Marketing Representative to promote a high-performing specialty medical practice in the Springfield area.
This is a part-time, contract role ideal for professionals with at least two (2) years of outside pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare sales experience who are looking for flexible hours, autonomy in the field, and supplemental income while working with an established, supportive team.
The scope of work is approximately "1/4-time" in activities.
This is a flexible, part-time opportunity ideal for professionals looking to add income while maintaining realistic expectations.
The majority of activities require face-to-face efforts. Some follow-up can be accomplished from a home office.
Position Overview
The Liaison will build and strengthen provider-to-provider referral relationships by meeting face-to-face with targeted medical practices, supported by strategic follow-up. The ideal candidate will be comfortable engaging with healthcare professionals across all levels. All training, support, and materials provided by Physician’s Liaison
Responsibilities:
- Represent our client’s healthcare services with professionalism and integrity
- Conduct in-person visits to medical practices within the Springfield area
- Capture and report competitive intelligence, objections, and market feedback
- Document all outreach activities in an organized, timely manner
- Communicate key updates to the client weekly (or more often as needed)
- Proactively request commitments for referrals or provider-to-provider meetings
- Follow up with practices via phone, email, or virtual meetings to maintain engagement
- Maintain professional attire suitable for medical or general business settings
Qualifications:
- Minimum two (2) years of pharmaceutical, medical device, or related healthcare sales experience
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with physicians, practice managers, and other healthcare staff
- Comfortable navigating medical facilities and discussing complex services
- Strong objection-handling skills while remaining professional and solutions-focused
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- College degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience with documented sales achievements
Compensation per Month:
- Base: $1050
- Auto, Tech: $400
- Attainable Incentive: $1050
